Group Community Education

TFQC

The Tobacco-Free QC coalition is committed to reducing the impact of tobacco use in the Quad City area. Our coalition members recognize the importance of educating community members in the different areas of tobacco prevention and tobacco use. Therefore, our coalition members can provide education in a variety of settings in our community, including but not limited to a school class, a school staff training, a healthcare setting, a PTA meeting, the workplace and more. The following are the topics that we are prepared to speak about:

  • Tobacco-free living for teens
  • E-cigarette & vaping education
  • Benefits of tobacco-free and smoke-free multi-unit housing, parks, businesses, and child care centers
  • Smoking Cessation
  • Workplace wellness

    Our most recent community presentations included:
    -Rosecrance New Life Outpatient Center staff
    -North Scott High School staff
    -Assumption High School students
